Harvey, best known for its children's comics, reprints the original comic-strip adventures of legendary tough cop Dick Tracy and his rogues gallery of freakish enemies. In the Comics Code era, some of the original art is altered to remove violent content and narrative repetition. This issue reprints strips from July – September 1940. Fake guru Yogee Yamma uses mind-control gas to fleece his clients of their fortunes. When Tracy and the police uncover his scheme, he flees to his underground laboratory hideout.
